Emily’s role focuses on senior client counsel, business development and day-to-day internal management at global communications agency Bell Pottinger. She also has a specialist responsibility for resource management, training and development. Emily was promoted to deputy managing director for the agency’s corporate and brand division when five months’ pregnant, becoming the first woman at the company to take such a senior role in its second largest division. She led a hugely successful HSBC global thought leadership programme for five years, helping secure the bank as one of Bell Pottinger’s biggest clients, and has driven successful business pitches for large multinationals, including Hitachi and Amazon.
