The first part time Managing Director to lead a client service group for Accenture in the UK and Ireland, Fiona is responsible for driving profitability and growth across the firm’s retail, consumer goods, life sciences, and automotive and industrial client portfolio, responsible for 1,100 people. Fiona decided to work part time following the birth of her daughter. Just after doing so, she was promoted and became the UKI Chemicals and Natural Resources Industry Lead. She enjoys spending quality time with family and pursuing personal interests such as cycling, theatre and supporting the youth charity OnSide. Fiona says, ‘If you invest the time to explore, there are a number of flexible working arrangements available that you can make work. Flexibility is not a barrier, but rather an enabler to success. You just have to have the courage to ask.’
