Gemma is a Principal in the London office of Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. Gemma also co-leads the graduate recruiting programme for Bain in the UK. With over 10 years’ consulting experience, Gemma works primarily in Bain’s Financial Services practice, with specific expertise in Retail Banking. She regularly advises senior executives on some of their most important issues, including strategy, customer experience, distribution and organisational effectiveness. Since 2012, Gemma has chosen to work four days a week simply for more balance, and has twice taken periods of extended leave. She has been instrumental in making flexible working a viable and positive option for others at Bain.
