Katie is a Director for Amazon Marketplace, which enables thousands of SMEs and household brands to sell products on Amazon, and is responsible for the UK Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) business. Today 45% of worldwide purchases from Amazon’s sites are made from third-party sellers. FBA is one of Amazon’s fastest-growing businesses, with 70% more UK sellers using the service last year and 40% of stock being seller-owned in Amazon’s fulfilment centres globally. Since joining, Katie has reconfigured her management team and recruited talent to collaborate with teams across Amazon, maintaining rapid growth. Katie began working part time in her previous role at Tesco, launching Tesco’s Marketplace and subsequently becoming UK Clubcard Director. A mother of two young sons, Katie is pioneering new flexible working arrangements at Amazon.
