Monica is a litigation lawyer who chairs the board at Addleshaw Goddard LLP, an international law firm, and is the firm’s Senior Partner. She began working flexibly after having her third child, so that she could more easily combine her work and childcare commitments. While working flexibly, she was elected to the board, and in 2010 to the position of Senior Partner. Named by The Lawyer magazine as a ‘Hot 100 Lawyer’ in both 2007 and 2011, Monica has helped create a culture of flexibility within the firm, for example by being open about her own arrangement and sharing her experience of flexible working with those on the firm’s female lawyer development programme. The firm is ranked in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list for the 7th consecutive year.
