Terms & Conditions – TIMEWISE POWER LIST

General

  1. The ‘Promoter’ of this award competition (the ‘Timewise Power List Awards’) is Timewise Foundation CIC, a limited company registered in England and Wales (company number: 5274371, VAT registration number: 190590594). Registered address: Three Tuns House, 1st floor, 109 Borough High Street, London SE1 1NL.
  2. Throughout these terms and conditions, ‘Entrant’ refers to a person who enters the competition themselves; ‘Nominator’ refers to a person who nominates another person for the competition; ‘Nominee’ refers to a person who is nominated; ‘Winner’ refers to a person who makes it through to the final Timewise Power List.
  3. When a Nominator submits a form on behalf of a Nominee, Timewise will notify the Nominee and send them these terms and conditions to ensure their agreement to them.
  4. Any Nominee wishing to withdraw from the competition may do so at any time before the closing date of 18 January 2022, at which point they become an Entrant.
  5. Any Entrant, Nominator, Nominee or Winner will be subject to these Terms and Conditions and may also wish to read Timewise’s Privacy Notice and website terms and conditions.

Entry & Eligibility

6. The competition is open only to Entrants and Nominees who are UK residents.
7. Entrants and Nominees for the Timewise Power List – including the Employer Award – must be 18 years old or over. – – Entrant eligibility for each category is as follows:
– Power Part-timers – Works in a senior role in 4 days per week or less (80% contract), and was hired or promoted into the position on that basis.
– Power Climbers – Works in middle management – tipped for success – in 4 days per week or less, and was hired or promoted into the position on that basis.
8. Winners of any previous Timewise Power List awards (or ‘Timewise Power 50’ or ‘Power Part Time List’ as the competition has been called in earlier years) can enter or be nominated again provided they have had a significant promotion into a different part-time role at their company, or have been hired into a part-time role at a different company.
9. Entry to the competition is via the online forms accessed from this page . If online access is not available, entry forms can be requested by emailing timewisepowerlist@timewise.co.uk and the completed forms can be posted to: Timewise Power List, c/o Timewise, Three Tuns House, 1st floor, 109 Borough High Street, London SE1 1NL.
10. All Nominators must secure the agreement of their Nominee and wider organisation before submitting the nomination form.
11. Only one individual or job share pair from any one company can win, in any one year.
12. The closing date for entries is 18 January 2022. The Promoter reserves the right to extend the deadline at any point.
13. Entry to the competition is free and not dependent upon the purchase of any product or use of any service.
14. Proof of emailing/posting is not proof of the Promoter’s receipt of an entry form.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to move Entrants and Nominees into different categories.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to include Nominees for the competition other than those suggested by members of the public.
17. Employees of the Promoter are not eligible to enter or be nominated for this competition. Neither are their immediate families.

Our use of the information provided in the entry form

By entering this competition, Entrants, Nominators, Nominees and eventual Winners consent to the following terms:

18. The Promoter will process the information provided in the entry form, including any personal data, for the administration of this competition.
19. The Promoter may use the personal data in the entry form to get in touch about any matter relating to the Timewise Power List, for a period of up to six years (in accordance with Timewise’s privacy notice)
20. The Promoter reserves the right to write and publish a profile of all Winners, based on the entry form information. The Promoter reserves the right to final editorial approval of the Winner profiles, which will be published on our website. The Winner profiles may be kept on our website indefinitely, unless a Winner writes to us to request the removal of their profile.
21. The Entrant authorises the use of the information in the entry form, should they become a Winner, for any promotional purposes in relation to the competition in perpetuity by any and all means in any and all media, including for online, television, publication and exhibition uses.
22. The Entrant authorises the Promoter to arrange photography of them, should they become a Winner, and agrees to being used as a case study in local and national media and to take part in media interviews – including online and broadcast if required.
23. The Entrant, should they become a Winner, grants the Promoter the right to issue publicity concerning the Entrant’s business and for such purpose to reproduce/broadcast their photographs, in relation to the Timewise Power List.

Judging

24. The Promoter will review the entries for the Timewise Power List and select a shortlist for the panel of judges to consider.
25. Entries will be judged by an independent judging panel. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
26. Winners of the Timewise Power List will be notified in March 2022 and invited to an awards reception to take place in May 2022 (exact date to be confirmed).
27. The final list of winners will be publicly announced in May 2022 (exact date to be confirmed).
