Georgina (‘George’) and Nicky co-founded and run The PR Network, an international PR company of 650 freelance consultants with more than 50 clients including Zipcar, Disney and MasterCard. George and Nicky have successfully job shared for 8 years, building their business to a turnover of more than £1m without compromising on their desired working patterns. George, who has two daughters and is pregnant with her third child, works Monday to Wednesday while Nicky (a mother to two boys) works Wednesday to Friday. They ensure continuity with their shared work day and by staying in touch via smartphones at other times. They attribute their success to total flexibility on both sides, and having a fantastic core team within the business.
