Timewise grew out of the social enterprise Women Like Us, which was founded by the multi award-winning social entrepreneurs Karen Mattison MBE and Emma Stewart MBE in 2005, to provide women with career support and good quality flexible jobs after children. Realising employers needed support in order to build more flexible futures, Timewise the social consultancy was formed in 2010 to help businesses to shape better flexible working policies and practices. In 2023 Claire Campbell FCIPD was appointed CEO.
