ARM designs the processor technology which provides the intelligence in a third of all digital electronic goods sold each year around the world, including smartphones and tablets. Since the company started in 1990, around 60 billion chips utilising ARM technology have been shipped, and they are enabling products used by billions of people every day. Jennifer is responsible for delivering the company’s global People strategy. She leads a function of 70 employees and manages a £15m budget. Jennifer has worked part time in a variety of organisations and sectors since returning from maternity leave 14 years ago and chooses to maintain her working pattern for personal balance. She is often approached by professionals looking to adopt a similar pattern and says her answer is always: “You can!”
